PIM Browser Utility
The PIM Browser utility gives Custom Data users a convenient way to view online PIM product information for all items already integrated into a project file located on their local/desktop computer. If you use software supported through our Custom Data Delivery Service, this means that you won't need to spend time building new online projects or creating new product lists from existing jobs.

Once the PIM Browser utility is opened, select a project and then use the utility to launch a browser that automatically collects together all relevant PIM product information. This can be a simple way of researching product information or sharing product data from a project with others who are not on site.

Try it yourself: Download the PIM Browser utility below. You don't need a registered copy of CustomConnectware to see how it works. We've included a sample project in the PIM Browser for CustomConnectware download for you to experience what the PIM can do for you. Even if you don't have CustomConnectware installed on your computer, the PIM Browser will let you open up a CustomConnectware project file and display the project's PIM product information.

PIM Browser for CustomConnectware™
Requirements:

Windows 98 or later
Internet Explorer 5.0 or later
You must be connected to the Internet to use the browser

Instructions for Download:

1. Click the link below and save the PIM_Browser.zip file to your computer.
Click Here to Download.
2. Using WinZip or another extraction utility, unzip the files to your hard-drive. They will automatically be placed into a folder named: PIM_Browser.
The download contains these files: "PIM_Browser.exe" (the utility, itself) and a sample project file, "3Rm_HomeTheater_StructuredWiring.ccp".
3. Double-click on PIM_Browser.exe to open the utility.
4. Use the Locate button to the sample project file.
5. Click on the desired file to select it and click the Open button to open it.
6. Click the Browse button to launch the PIM Browser. All relevant PIM product information will now be displayed.

The download file contains a utility (PIM_Browser.exe) that can open CustomConnectware project and template files. Once opened, the project will be displayed and the user can then launch a browser to view the online PIM product information for all items in the project. The zip file also contains two sample projects but test with other project/template files that you already have.
